There’s something magical about senior year. It’s a time when every opportunity feels just within reach, and the excitement for what’s next is electric. Seniors are full of life, brimming with enthusiasm for the future—and that’s exactly why creating The Legacy Society felt like a no-brainer for me.


Graduating from Appalachian State not too long ago and taking senior pictures for others has reminded me just how quickly life moves and changes. Those moments of achievement can rush by if we don’t pause to celebrate them. That’s why I believe it’s so important to stop, acknowledge your accomplishments, and truly honor where you are in life.


The Legacy Society was created for seniors like you to do exactly that—celebrate everything you’ve worked for and capture this once-in-a-lifetime chapter of your story.


What is The Legacy Society?

My Vision for Your Senior Year

When I designed The Legacy Society, I knew I wanted it to be something different. Sure, we’ll take those classic, timeless photos your grandparents will proudly display on their walls—but we’ll also create images that reflect the full scope of your senior year.

We’ll document:

  • The different seasons of your senior year, from golden-hour picnics in spring to cozy holiday shoots in winter.
  • The people who matter most, like your family, friends, and teammates, because your legacy doesn’t start or stop with you—it’s shaped by the generations before you and the connections you’ve made.
  • The little things that make you, YOU, whether it’s your favorite pair of sneakers, your go-to coffee shop, or that quirky hobby you can’t live without.


I want you to feel like an active part of the creative process. This is your legacy, and I’m here to help you tell your story—not dictate it.


What’s Included in The Legacy Society?

Here’s what you can expect when you join:

  • Four Themed Group Photoshoots: Creative, seasonal sessions designed just for seniors.
  • Discounted Individual Sessions: Bring your family, friends, or teammates to celebrate those who helped you reach this milestone.
  • Referral Rewards: Earn $15 for every person you refer who books a photoshoot.
  • A Graduation Party: Wrap up the year with a celebration just for members.
  • Lifetime Discount: Enjoy 10% off all future Blue Ridge Photography sessions after you graduate.


Your Role as a Legacy Society Member

The Legacy Society is all about celebrating YOU and capturing your story, but being part of something this special comes with a few small responsibilities. As a member, you’ll agree to:

  • Attend All Four Group Photoshoots: These themed sessions are the heart of the program, and your participation is essential to making them a success.
  • Book Your Senior Portraits with Blue Ridge Photography: Your individual senior photo session is not included in the four free group photoshoots, but as a Legacy Society member, you’ll receive 50% off your session. You’ll also have the flexibility to choose from any of our session categories, ensuring your portraits truly reflect your style and personality.
  • Refrain from Professional Photography with Other Photographers: While you’re part of The Legacy Society, you agree not to schedule any professional photoshoots with other photographers (this excludes required yearbook photos). This keeps the focus on your unique Legacy Society experience and the cohesive vision we’ll create together.
  • Share Your Journey on Social Media: Post your favorite photo from each group session and tag Blue Ridge Photography. This isn’t just a rule—it’s a way to celebrate your senior year, inspire others, and show off the amazing images we’ll create together.
  • Engage with the Community: Cheer on your fellow members, connect during shoots, and be part of the fun. This program is about building friendships and memories as much as it’s about photos.

These commitments help make The Legacy Society a meaningful and rewarding experience for everyone involved. Plus, the more you engage, the more you’ll get out of it!


A Personal Touch

One of the things that makes this program unique is my approach. I love using prompts to create movement, laughter, and genuine emotion in your photos. We’ll toss caps, throw leaves, decorate holiday trees, and capture the joy of just being in the moment. You won’t find stiff poses here—this is about celebrating YOU.


A Note for Parents

Parents, I know this milestone is just as special for you as it is for your senior. You’ve watched them grow, cheered them on, and supported them every step of the way. That’s why we encourage parents to join us at photoshoots (even if you’re just cheering from the sidelines). We also offer discounted family sessions because this milestone isn’t just theirs—it’s yours too.


Membership Details

Joining The Legacy Society is a unique opportunity, and we’ve worked hard to make it both accessible and packed with value.

The Membership Fee: $150

This one-time fee includes:

  • High-Resolution Photos: Receive fully edited, high-resolution digital images from each group photoshoot—no hidden fees or upsells.


When you break it down, the membership offers over $600 in value for just $150. It’s an incredible way to celebrate your senior year while creating timeless memories.


For those who need financial assistance, we offer flexible payment plans and a limited number of scholarships. Our goal is to make The Legacy Society accessible to everyone who wants to be part of it.
